Web app and email notifications
LeadsParrot uses two distinct notification channels.
- Web app notifications appear under the bell and on Notifications. Each recipient has a separate record and read state. Marking an item read affects only you.
- Email notifications are transactional messages sent to your sign-in email through the configured LeadsParrot Gmail account.
Workspace-scoped notification emails identify the affected workspace by name. Account-scoped emails do not show a workspace.
Access and history
The bell shows the active account only. It includes account events and events from every workspace you can access, even when another workspace is active. Recipient access is checked when an event is published and again when history or an action is opened. Losing access removes the ability to view or follow that workspace event.
The bell preview identifies the active account by name, shows a compact unread-count indicator, and supports Mark all read. The bell indicator displays up to 99 so large unread totals remain legible; the Notifications page still shows and lists the real unread total. Select View all notifications to close the preview and open the full Notifications page. The full page provides Unread/All views, category and search filters, pagination, safe contextual links, and six calendar months of history.
Token events go to active users with token access; billing events go to subscription administrators; collaboration events go to the inviter and applicable user administrators; process events go only to the initiator while access remains active. Deliverability events go to eligible account owners and administrators and to users whose role and permissions allow Email & Domain Setup for the affected account or workspace.
Direct mailbox disconnection requests go to the connected account owner and active administrators. Deadline changes and withdrawals notify the same recipients. When the mailbox is disconnected through any LeadsParrot removal path, LeadsParrot notifies both the verified mailbox owner and the connected account owner and active administrators.
The Deliverability category reports new or changed SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, tracking CNAME, and supported DNS-provider connection issues. LeadsParrot suppresses repeated alerts while the same issue remains unchanged and creates a separate notification when the monitored domain or Cloudflare connection recovers.
It also reports domain high-bounce incidents, each affected campaign's response, manual overrides, and recovery. Eligible owners, administrators, and users with Email & Domain Setup access receive high-priority web app notifications according to the scope they can access. Email is mandatory when LeadsParrot automatically reduces a domain by 50% or pauses it for a campaign. Notify-only, override, and recovery emails follow the recipient's Deliverability preference. See Domain and email account rotation.
Email preferences
Open Profile Settings, then choose Email Notifications. Optional email events default on and are grouped into Tokens, Billing, Access, Processes, and Deliverability. Required invitations, payment failures and refunds, subscription access loss, first/final auto-recharge failure messages, and direct mailbox disconnection workflow messages remain enabled and locked.
Email preferences do not suppress web app notifications. Every email delivery records its stable event identifier internally for auditing and future preference changes, but technical notification identifiers are not displayed in customer emails.
Missing or delayed email
Check the sign-in email, spam or promotions folders, and the event's preference. Delivery retries run independently, so a temporary Gmail failure never rolls back the original token, billing, access, process, or deliverability action. If a required message remains missing, contact support with the approximate time and event type. Never include payment credentials or provider secrets. Notification search, view, category, and pagination state are reflected in the browser URL. Notification resource actions include the intended account or workspace context when they open another product page.
