Account balance and token sources
Every grant or purchase creates a token lot that retains its source, spending priority, and expiry date when applicable. The Tokens page shows the total and its source breakdown.
How the balance reconciles
At any moment:
Total balance = shared available + workspace available + shared account held + workspace bucket held.
This is an exclusive equation: each token appears in one allocation only. Shared account held means tokens reserved from the shared account balance. Workspace bucket held means tokens reserved from workspace buckets. Available workspace tokens exclude the tokens currently held from those buckets.
A hold belongs to the funding source selected when the action started. Returning tokens from a bucket changes where tokens are available, not the total balance.
Explore the allocation
The Account balance explorer offers four views of the same values:
- Numbers is the default and leftmost view. It presents the values as direct number blocks, including workspace rows and the two held funding sources.
- Flow uses a Sankey view to trace the total through its available and held branches.
- Sunburst shows each branch as a percentage of the total and splits workspace portions around the outer levels.
- Layered aligns the top-level allocation with its detailed workspace and held allocations.
Your selected view is remembered in the current browser. Select any branch for its amount, percentage, and definition. Select a workspace in the visual or the workspace selector to compare its available bucket tokens with its workspace bucket holds. Workspaces with zero tokens remain available in the selector even when they have no proportional mark to draw.
Spending priority and rollover
Within the selected source, LeadsParrot normally spends expiring promotional tokens first, then free-trial tokens, subscription tokens, purchased tokens, and admin bonuses. Unused non-expired tokens roll over. A promotional or admin lot keeps its original expiry even after tokens move into a workspace bucket.
When an earmarked lot expires, the affected bucket balance falls and token activity records the movement. Expiry never creates a replacement shared balance.
Who can see and manage tokens
Users need the Tokens account permission to open the Tokens page or manage workspace token settings. Account owners, administrators, and users with Full account access already have this permission. Workspace access still controls which workspace-specific information and notifications a user can receive.
