Direct mailbox ownership and disconnection

A Google direct mailbox can be connected to only one LeadsParrot account at a time. This protects its sending health because separate LeadsParrot accounts cannot coordinate their combined sending volume or daily limits.

Find your direct mailbox connection

Sign in to LeadsParrot with the Google identity that owns the mailbox, then open Account Settings > Email & Domains. Your direct mailbox connections appears only when LeadsParrot finds an active direct mailbox connection owned by that verified Google identity. Matching uses Google's stable identity record rather than relying only on the displayed email address.

A LeadsParrot account with this connection can use the mailbox through LeadsParrot to send email as its address and access or manage tracked conversations. The section makes clear whether the mailbox is connected to your current account, another account you can access, or another account you cannot access.

The section shows the mailbox address, connected account name, and account owner. LeadsParrot does not disclose campaign names, workspace information, activity details, or other private data from an account you cannot access.

Manage a connection in an account you can access

If the mailbox is connected to your active account, LeadsParrot marks it This account. Choose Remove connection to review an explanation before opening Email Accounts, filtered to that mailbox. Remove it there so you can review the normal campaign-impact warning first.

If it belongs to another LeadsParrot account you can access, choose Switch and manage. LeadsParrot changes your active account and opens the same filtered Email Accounts page.

Request disconnection from another account

If you cannot access the connected account, choose Send disconnection request. LeadsParrot notifies the account owner and all active account administrators by web notification and email.

The notification links to the filtered Email Accounts page with Disconnect email account as its action. When automatic disconnection is enabled, the message shows the scheduled calendar date without a technical timestamp, for example 16 Aug 2026.

Before removing the mailbox, recipients are advised to review affected campaigns, email warm-up, tracked conversations, and background activity so they can avoid interrupting ongoing work. They do not approve or deny your ownership rights: as the verified mailbox owner, you can disconnect the mailbox at any time.

You can leave the request open without a deadline or enable automatic disconnection and enter any positive whole number of days. When automatic disconnection is enabled, the form starts at seven days. A pending request can be changed to a new period, changed back to no deadline, withdrawn, or followed by immediate disconnection. A changed period begins when you save the change, and the connected account is notified again.

Withdrawing a request cancels its pending automatic disconnection and notifies the connected account. It cannot restore a mailbox that has already been disconnected.

Disconnect immediately

Choose Disconnect immediately when you do not want to wait for the connected account. LeadsParrot asks for a second confirmation because removal can interrupt sending or other running activity. Choose Yes, disconnect to continue or No, wait to return without removing the mailbox.

Immediate removal and deadline-based automatic removal perform the same cleanup as removal from Email Accounts. LeadsParrot:

  • Stops using the mailbox for sending and tracked-conversation polling.
  • Disables its email warm-up settings.
  • Removes its workspace assignments and active campaign sender assignments.
  • Deletes its saved LeadsParrot authorization.
  • Attempts to revoke the Google OAuth grant.

Disconnection still completes if Google is unavailable or cannot confirm that the external OAuth grant was revoked. You can review and remove LeadsParrot access separately in your Google Account if needed.

Notifications and reconnecting

When a Google direct mailbox is first connected, LeadsParrot immediately emails the connected address with the LeadsParrot account name, the account owner's name and email, a summary of how LeadsParrot can use the connection, and a link back to this disconnection guide. Use the immediate-disconnection steps above if you did not authorize the connection or believe it may be malicious.

Request creation, deadline changes, request withdrawal, and completed disconnection are required operational notifications. When disconnection completes through any LeadsParrot removal path, LeadsParrot notifies the verified mailbox owner and the connected account owner and active administrators.

After removal, the same Google mailbox can be connected again. LeadsParrot creates a new active email-account connection rather than restoring the removed record. Historical campaign, sending, activity, test, and usage references remain as account history.
