Token packs and auto-recharge
Active paid accounts can buy token packs from the Tokens page. Only token administrators can start Stripe checkout. Tokens are granted after Stripe confirms payment, never merely because checkout opened.
The Auto-recharge card on the Tokens page provides a read-only overview of its current state, trigger, token pack, monthly safeguard, and payment method. Select Manage auto-recharge to open the settings dialog, change the rule, manage the Stripe payment method, or review recent attempts.
Auto-recharge trigger basis
In Manage auto-recharge, the three trigger-basis cards appear in one row on wider screens. Select a card to make it active, or choose Help me decide beside the section heading to open this explanation. On smaller screens, the cards stack so their descriptions remain readable.
- Shared balance: shared tokens including shared tokens currently held for actions.
- Shared available: shared tokens after workspace buckets and shared holds are excluded.
- Total balance: all shared and bucket tokens together.
Choose a threshold below the selected pack size. The threshold field shows the unit tokens beside the amount, such as 100 tokens. Auto-recharge always adds purchased tokens to the shared balance. Moving tokens into a bucket can trigger a rule based on shared balance or shared available.
Required safeguards
Choose a monthly USD limit, a recharge-count limit, or both. Limits use UTC calendar months and clear automatically at the next month.
The low-balance choice is not a permanent form setting. When you select Save auto-recharge, LeadsParrot checks the selected balance. If it is already at or below the threshold, a confirmation dialog asks whether to save and recharge immediately or save and wait for the next qualifying balance decrease. When the balance is above the threshold, settings save without this additional question.
The page stores the approved pack price and shows the masked default payment method. You cannot enable or save an enabled auto-recharge rule until a default payment method is configured. Use Add payment method to open Stripe's secure billing portal. If the pack price changes, charging pauses until a token administrator approves the current price.
Only active paid accounts with a default Stripe payment method are eligible. Auto-recharge suspends when eligibility is lost and resumes when paid eligibility returns.
Failures and retries
A failed cycle retries every two days, for one initial attempt plus five retries. Web app notification history records every attempt. Email notifications are sent after the first failure and after retries are exhausted; these payment-safety emails cannot be disabled. Provider details are never exposed in customer messages.
If a charge succeeds, tokens are granted once using payment and database idempotency. If all attempts fail, update the default payment method and review the rule before continuing.
